AFAIK, the libmecab2 dependency is a requirement for both gwaei and libgwaei. I installed that but not any mecab dictionary or mecab-tools as I want to minimize the out-of-repo packages I add. The lack of a dictionary is probably why mecab crashes. But everything else seems to work fine, with the
