Inkscape 0.46 seems work only in full screen (no panels); if it does

I've tested the Kubuntu Hardy Henron Alpha2 Live CD, but the are more problems
on network interface.
The network card is "viewed" by the system (not activated and not firmware
installed), but is impossible to reach other PC on the network or internet.

with the same codecs (convert a DVD to Xvid/Mp3) on the same PC (after update

I've installed it on feisty system with no problems (but at upgrade request is
displayed a wrong message of 'no internet connection active' (see attachment).

I have different problems after the upgrading.
The system seems to be upgraded at 10.04.
The most important is that is not possible to enter the dmcrypt password at
boot.
SOme application don't work (google chrome) and at first time also dolphin and
kwallet (now seems to work)
Fixed ? It's not fixed it'only a workaround.
Today i've updated kubuntu-default-settings.
There are only a modification of the boot screen image.
The quality is poor, and there are font problem on displaying the crypt

I've tried to install kubuntu 10.04 beta 2 on a notebook.
There are several problem with a "custom" disk partion.
When I try to add new partitions (for my needs) on empty disk space (/, /tmp
/home, and others), the installer become on every new partition slower, and

then rebooted the system, it's appear only updated in some parts, but continue

systems was upgraded to ubuntu or kubuntu 10.10 (the problem was only on
a new instasllation)

I have the same problem with huawei e156g modem.
On different notebooks , when i've upgraded to (K/L)ubuntu 11.04, the modem is
non more detected (but present with lsusb)
Test on 2 notebooks, one with Lubuntu 11.04, and another with Kubuntu 11.04 AMD

No problems on same machines with 10.10 ver
P.S. re testd with Lubuntu 10.10 live version, it's work, but NOT on the
same netbook with 11.04.

At this time i've "resolved" to start the system on safe mode, then
after the consolle login manually start kdm (/sudo /etc/init.d/kdm
start).
In this mode the system starts ok, in "Normal" mode I need to restart
(ctr+alt+del) 2/ 3 times.

I confirm this is an issue on Ubuntu 9.04 still. gnome-panel memory
usage had killed my system. I have notice that the memory increase when
switch wallpapers. I used Drapes. I tested changing wallpaper every 5
min. The memory was increasing with each new wall paper.
