When I've open this bug, I've tested the two situation and the speed difference with the same codecs (convert a DVD to Xvid/Mp3) on the same PC (after update edgy to feisty). Now (1 Y later), the MB of that PC is ko, and i've installed hardy on a other MB/PC . I think that is possible to close this bug. Bye
