I still have the problem more than 1 year later. The only workaround
which is working for me is the one reported by Patrick : restarting
rpc.idmapd on server side after bootup.

I confirm that I have the same no_root_squash behaviour. Mounting my
home this way granted access to kdesu. BUT, I don't think that this is a
fix. Using no_root_squash introduce serious security problems and I
don't want to mount my filesystems that way. Anyway, I didn't change nor

Bug 155032 fix doesn't solve this issue, I'm don't think this is a
