I can reproduce this bug:
Have shotwell open and a potrait picture with orientation tag in the EXIF data
in your library. Now edit the picture with jhead:
"jhead -autorot pic.jpg" (This will rotate the image according to the
orientation tag.)
Shotwell now displays the image as in the screenshot.

Same here on my Thinkpad T400 running Ubuntu Maverick. After startup it shows
up but then it disappears after little time. If Bluetooth is turned on over the
Fn key combination it comes back but as the key also switches the wlan module
it always produces a wlan disconnect.

Just to follow up on Paul Smith's comment, I just (<2 hours) did a tidy-
out of unused packages, cleaned/flushed package cache, a full update of
7.04 followed by update-manager -d and didn't intervene in any package
removals. Same issue. This is not yet fixed as far as I can see. The

Upon login to gdm after upgrading from 6.10 to 7.04 the keyboard is messed up.
Also it complains that there is a mismatch between X settings and gnome.
Gnome settings was set to US keyboard. Changed it to Norwegian, and xorg.conf
is also set to use no layout.

I am experiencing the same problem with a RODECaster Pro and (in my
case) Arch Linux. The following log output is generated when I connect
the RODECaster via USB:
kernel: usb 2-9.4.2: new high-speed USB device number 20 using xhci_hcd
kernel: usb 2-9.4.2: New USB device found, idVendor=19f
I can confirm this issue on 14.04 LTS and fix by Fullbuffer (#48). After
several other attempts listed here this was what apparently did it for
me:
mv ~/.cache ~/cache-old
sudo reboot
I think my issue might have come after a "suspend".
