touchpad is working again. However, I don't know if that is related to
me doing a upgrade instead of a clean install.

Same as Chris Jepsen. I took the time from the kernel was loaded, and it
took well over 40 seconds before I saw the desktop wallpaper, and some
more until everything popped into place. It boots much slower than 9.10
on the same computer. Both with ext4.

To me it happened when loading java content (banking service) in
Firefox. I don't know if that qualifies as the same bug, but it seems
the results were pretty much the same.
Note: Upon trying to access the java content again I thought it crashed
again, but after 1-2 mins the "Run java applet"-dial
Crashes when trying to open network stream as well.

I installed Ubuntu 11.04 on an older Acer laptop yesterday, with the
Intel GMA 950 graphics chip. When I booted from the live media it was
mainly fine, except it insisted the screen was 4:3. No matter, that was
fixed after installed and running some updates, so now it displays

online that it had fixed other compiz bugs, but to no avail.
And also, booting to ubuntu classic desktop (no effects) went smoothly,

I think I've discovered the cause. If you grab and drag content on a
page in Firefox, the launcher appears (I guess for adding pictures to
Shotwell, copying text to gedit or whatev.) I think the same happens on
Opera, but some bug between launcher and opera causes the launcher to
