Just updated to kernel 3.2.0-12, blank purple screen on first boot,
second boot worked. Removed all extra kernels except 3.2.0-6. I will

Every time I try to start up the pc I get a blank purple screen first.
Then I have to press the power button to shut the pc off manually. When
i start it up again it boots to grub menu. When I select kernel it goes
to black screen with blinking cursor on top left. I then manually shut
down and repe

I tried that, now its taking like 7-10 times before I can get in, and
when I do my video is all messed up. Here is the boot info. Yann from

The mouse is not lined up with the cursor. So when you click on a txt or
button it does not work. I normally have to run the mouse to about a
half an inch above the object I am trying to click. Newest version of

When I try to add my google talk account to empathy (or add it as a
jabber account with the server settings set to google's server), it says
"Disconnected -- no reason specified". The following was outputted to
stdout:
(empathy:6403): Telepat
If it's fixed, then I should be able to connect. I've updated to stable
10.10, so I _should_ have the fix, right?
Also, I find it silly to open up a new issue for the same problem.

My Google Apps account is able to connect successfully and the status is
set as "Available". Now when I try my GMail account, it shows
"Available" for a split second and then returns to "Disconnected -- no
reason specified".
