I was surprised, I was compressing a folder but abnormally it became a
way larger after the compression.
What Im compressing are basically text files and as a matter of fact
text files have a maximum compression ratio.

Since I upgraded Ubuntu Studio from 13.04 to 13.10 (nautilus 3.8.2) I
have had the same problem as the first 2 posts here. After seeing the
post saying that re-sizing nautilus helps, I played around with that. I
noticed that the when re-sizing the zone I can't click on still has the
same distance
I booted a Live CD and split my swap partition into two, leading to the
old UUID being invalid. Doing this makes boot hang at "resume: libgrypt
x.x.x" forever.
Some googling lead me here, but I could not find the file /usr/share
/initramfs-tools/hooks/resume, and could not try the solution sugges

of the same application but on a different workspace is hidden by some

windows of an application open in both workspace 1 and workspace 2.
This can prove to be very annoying. Consider this use case:

Update:
I rebooted computer and resumed my work and the mouse froze up again.
I repeated the same steps I posted in #2 and the touchpad was working
again. This is just going to take some sorting. Plugging in an
external mouse and changing the same settings every time you start your
computer does
