I concur. On Asus F3Sa, the exact, described problem occurs under
Kubuntu/KDE4.1. Upon resume, though, I have not noticed file
inconsistencies, although KNetworkManager goes a little berserk until I
disable/re-enable.

Installer crashed on me a couple times; cleaning the cd didn't help
that. I mem-tested and found nothing wrong, so i reburnt the cd at a
lowerspeed- crashed once . On the next try, the liveCD install was
successful. Onto other fun errors...

Installed the Kubuntu Beta last night, after some shenanigans on the
LiveCDs part, to discover this exact system behavior- desktop appears
frozen but the mouse is responsive. The difference is that the time to
this error is < 5mins.
