In a nutshell, the new version of metacity broke the old compiz one. And compiz
was rebuilt to support the new metacity version. Unfortunately, this one get
low priority on rebuild in the builders, and so, metacity has
no pb :)
We'll see if that reoccurs or not. Apparently, we don't have many
complaints on this, so let's investigate on more obvious things first :)

script launched in ubuntu-netbook-default-settings

Just that you should have checked on lucid that it was fixed (there were also
dup).
In any case, do not hesitate to join #ubuntu-bugs, a lot of people are there to
help you learning how to triage (which is not an easy task seeing the number of
bugs/packages!)

Hi Josh,
I have no power to get this in Lucid, and there is bug #564692 up for
the Ubuntu release managers. I can't do more.
For me the fix is released because it's in available Debian packages,
unfortunately not for Lucid.

Well, you can have your own templates and don't want to get the 30
dependencies of ubuntu-application. Also, maybe there will be another
set of templates soon not related to ubuntu…

The diff in minutes is due to different refresh rates.
Removing the second applet will be tracked once maverick will be released and
the time indicator got more features.

no, all indicators are presents in every session for right now.
The only reason I didn't removed the clock applet before was because
it's still in early development phase and will contain some calendar

Hum, do you normally just run "quickly share"? This should bump the
revision number (which isn't the case in your example). We can change
the contain by "new experimental test".
Your commits in quickly save (or bzr commit) are collected and added to
debian/chanlog when you release.
