Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dh-autoreconf

Followed the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MainInclusionProcess and all
requirements are complete for Main Inclusion of dh-autoreconf.

Availability: in universe
Rationale: dh-autoreconf will be use by GNOME package for launching
automatically autoreconf on build (was discussed as a try at UDS) as we have a
lot of Makefile.am patched due to LPI. Furthemore, dh-autoreconf has a cdbs
rule too that can be included without patching heavily too many debian/rules
file.
Security: no security issue known right now
Quality assurance: simple package and vital for GNOME build package on ubuntu
if we embrace it. desktop-team will maintain it if debian won't.
UI standards: no UI
Dependencies: all in main
Standards compliance: follow FHS guidelines
Maintenance: ubuntu desktop team
Background information:
Description of the package: debhelper add-on to call autoreconf and clean up
after the build
dh-autoreconf provides a debhelper sequence addon named 'autoreconf' and two
 commands, dh_autoreconf and dh_autoreconf_clean.
 .
The dh_autoreconf command creates a list of the files and their checksums,
calls autoreconf and then creates a second list for the new files.
 .
The dh_autoreconf_clean command compares these two lists and removes all
files which have been added or changed (files may be excluded if needed).
 .
For CDBS users, a rule is provided to call the dh-autoreconf programs at
 the right time.

** Affects: dh-autoreconf (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
