This issue seems to have improved, I presume with package updates since
it was first reported. Animations are generally no longer jerky. Soft
and hard reboot are generally no longer required. Keyboard Shortcuts
appear/disappear smoothly. Remaining problems:
* Opening the Dash almost never works.
Workaround: using Ubuntu Tweak, I have disabled the Ubuntu logo from
appearing on the login screen. Happy to undo this for testing.

access to (laptop already dual-booting, and VM is acting up :P ), so I

In rdp session mouse cursor should like in windows, but in remmina 1.0
(ubuntu 12.04) it use default ubuntu mouse cursor everywhere.
It is little confusing, particularly in window resise, click link etc.
remmina version:

Not sure if this bug is the same as wanting only a single cursor to

https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/issues/214 - if it is, the workaround

I think having an Accessibility icon appear when an accessibility
function is enabled (similar to the Caps Lock icon when Caps Lock is on)
is a simple solution to this issue. Having just lost half a day's work
trying to track down the cause, I can say I would've appreciated a small
clue.

Additional comment: I can confirm that "Accessibility features can be
toggled with keyboard shortcuts" was unticked once I logged in. But I'm
not sure if this is a user-by-user preference.

I got a kernel update this morning. It has *partially* fixed the
problem. If I plug my machine into the TV via S-Video an image now
appears. However, every 2 minutes (approx) the TV screen (but not the
laptop monitor) flashes blue (it displays blue if there is no signal or
the laptop is not plugged
Can someone please mark this bug as affecting the kernel package(s)? I'm
guessing the kernel team don't know about it, and I doubt there will be
further progress until they do.
