The computer appears to enter suspend normally but when restarting the
monitor wakes up with nothing on the screen. The caps lock and scroll
functions on the keyboard stop working. Ctrl Alt backspace has no effect
and the computer requires a restart. This is a Dell Dimension 4

Just looking for some assistance in getting the Dell 4555 to suspend

Ubuntu is on 2 desktops and one laptop as a stand alone O/S. MS only
exists inside Virtual Box on one desktop for testing reasons. I restore
old computers and the use of floppies is a must for me. This includes
the 5.25" drives! I will be reverting the one desktop I upgraded to
9.10, back to 9.04 u
