That was my test site and it works for me in Firefox and Epiphany. And it
didn't work earlier, so the upgrade fixed it for me. Cannot rule out that there

Btw, for those that are interested: I'm using zsh and the following
lines in .zshrc fixed it for me
bindkey ";5C" forward-word
bindkey ";5D" backward-word
it does make a beep on jumps though, but you can switch off system beep
in zsh with "no_beep".

If I set "default interpreter" to /bin/zsh and start up guake then
pressing the hotkey flashes up guake for a split second but goes away
immediately, i.e. I never really get a terminal.
The zsh shell does work though if I set "default interpreter"

have an intel video card and you had some performance issues, try to
check all boxes in the "Updates" tab of "Software Sources" (
I actually stopped having freezes after recovery from screensaver when I
switched from intrepid to jaunty. So there's one thing that worked better for
me in jaunty. :)

In current lucid with all updates I can reproduce a segmentation fault
in gnome-appearance-properties in the following way:
1) open "Appearance"
2) choose "Dust" theme
3) customize and choose "Human" icon theme
4) go back to main theme tab and choose "ambiance"
5) result: it crashes every single

lucid. I tried pressing Esc during boot to get a boot menu but all I got
was a "mountall: cannot connect to plymouth". It resumed to boot
correctly though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there a way to disable these
notifications by clicking on the status icon? But this seems to have
gone lost during the recent changes in lucid.
The option to switch them off is still available in gconf-editor by
going to /apps/rhythmbox/plugins/status-icon/notifi
As I said above, I don't get this bug anymore since upgrading to lucid.
Maybe codekiln can confirm this since he also saw that bug on his
machine.

Another way to reproduce the problem which shows even more how serious
the bug is:
1) type into a terminal "info cat"
2) hit "/" to do a search
3) type anything and hit ENTER
you will get the error "[`ESC O m' is invalid]". This means I cannot do
any regular searches in "info" dialogs in a standa
I get the same problem with a new user live CD configuration. I played
around a bit with the keyboard layout but the problem persists. I have a
FujitsuSiemens Amilo laptop, wonder if that keyboard model is not
correctly configured in Ubuntu.
