I typed in a very big number. Then I activated "show thousand separator"
and pressed "=". The first separator on the left is a comma. All other
separators are dots. So the decimal dot is no more different from the
thousand dots.

same here. After installing the one new package to a clean install 7.10
kubuntu update manager wants me to upgrade to 7.10. After some eror

Drivers and Thinkpad Tools.
SInce this i had no problem any more. But it´s anoying related to the
Thinkpad Tools they worked without Problem on Edgy. That makes me wonder

due the respawn of some processes i think they are (re)started again even on
shutdown
so they are running if the / is remounted readonly
and that is why it fails
i think upstart should insure that all processes are killed (also the
respawning) at the moment we mount / readonly on halt or rebo

where qemu-dm is part of.
Latest version xen-utils-4.1.2-2ubuntu2.2 shows same behaviour.
