I just downloaded tibe 5 for during those sugestion but I can only
boot the live cd with the noapic option and then I dont have mouse or
keyboard support (I can not write those commands).
Would it help if I did boot in debian Etch and use the commands there?

Compiz / vnc screen refresh with nvidia-restricted driver/Virtual
I also see this problem on Ubuntu 8.10 running with nVidea restricted
drivers. I didn't try killing the compiz processes, but I can confirm
that vino server is not refreshing properly with compiz running.
