1. system does not cope if you copy over more than the ipod can store.
In this case it seems there are too many error messages generated

Followed the steps to a T. Everything installed correctly, rebooted, had
to fix my refresh rate to get my monitor 1 looking right. However the
menus seem to have gotten slightly worse. Attaching my xorg.conf and

I agree it is not a firefox bug but it is very definitely a bug with

I think I agree it is something to do with the interaction between
router and linux. I have now tried this with konqeror also. It is very
interesting in that it has a different failure: It successfully loads
linked in pages like my contacts but at some point starts getting
addresses *wrong*. It
OK... just to complicate this further (or perhaps simplify it) I have
now independently installed Arch linux with the latest KDEmod packages
from chakra. I.e. I installed from the chakra live CD and then updated
everything using pacman.
I can report that linkedin seems to be working better for me
thering
many people.

Downgrading to the feisty versions of xorg, xserver-xorg, xserver-xorg-core,
xserver-xorg-input-all (& drivers), xserver-xorg-video-all (&drivers) solved
the problem, so it's probably not directly related to glibc.
I'm going to do some tests to find the real culprit out of these.

upgraded the above xorg packages today to latest gutsy versions and X is still
working after restart. So I guess the bug can be closed.
Strange it worked for everybody else, though...

Same problem here. After startup, the system beep beeps although the
setting is disabled. Only after enabling and disabling it manually it's
really disabled.

Binary package hint: nautilus
My Cowon U2 player gets recognized as a mass storage device and gets
mounted correctly, but Nautilus doesn't show it as an audio player and
Rhythmbox doesn't show it at all.
Hal identifies the device correctly.
In february, using a Hardy alpha,
I can confirm that 2.6.24-11-generic fixed that problem for on my
system.

I have attached a crash report file from my machine, which shows the
same behaviour. Basically whenever you navigate away from the AIM mail
page (or close the tab) firefox will crash
