has disappeared after the monitor was off/screensaver - once I moved the
mouse to see the desktop, there was no cursor but I was able to click, I

This is not new at all, this is something old and the bug's date proves
that. Yes, it is still happening only when you have mounted some
partitions while you are on the LiveCD (Try ... without installation)
and it should never be shown or appeared while choosing "Install ..." so
it is just on the L
By the way, I don't see any problem with that. Is that even a bug? I'm
thinking it is quite simple that you need to unmount the partitions that
you have mounted on the LiveCD/LiveUSB mode so there is nothing wrong
IMHO :)

installed Xubuntu 13.10 both i368 and amd64 and it seems, this bug is

laptop and a PC using LiveUSB and everything worked just prefect.
I used UNetbootin to create the LiveUSB and the daily image was
20-03-2012.

Does it make any difference if I choose: "Try Ubuntu GNOME without
installation" and then do the manual test?
I followed the test case as it is and did choose: "Install Ubuntu GNOME"
and then the manual test.
I'll try to re-do that for the 3rd time now and see if that would change
anything
I forgot to mention that when I'm using Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 LTS, I don't
have this issue at all. I'm having this only on Xubuntu 12.04 LTS and
I'm not yet sure what is going on.
Both systems (Xubuntu and Ubuntu GNOME) should have the same issue. I do
need however to double check.

sooner or later, the Developers will pay attention to this one because,

Hi, the problem is, I don't have any real hardware to test Ubuntu GNOME :(
I had two machines (laptops) which can handle Ubuntu GNOME and was thinking to
use one of these but sadly, one is dead so I have only one right now which I
can't really take the risk to try anything not stable simply
I confirm that both i386 and amd64 are working fine right now and
everything is back to normal. Tim is the best :D

In my case, everything was just fine. However, I must say that in my
case, there is only one Hard Drive, not 2 Hard Drives as in the bug

When I tried to re-produce this bug, I had a previously installed Ubuntu
GNOME Utopic Unicorn RC and when I tried to do the manual installation,
I removed/deleted the old partitions and created new ones. Then,
installed and everything was just fine.
It seems this is a hard to re-produce bug and I
Ubuntu GNOME Utopic Unicorn 20141022.1 RC amd64 and it is happening with
me - same as the video on comment #9
I am running Xubuntu 12.04.5 and Oracle VM version 4.1.12_Ubuntu and
found this one while I was testing the RC of Ubuntu GNOME.
i386 of the same build works just fine and couldn't produce

Two machines, one is Asus F3F Laptop - Intel Due @1.86GHz with 488MB RAM
and the other is P4 @3GHz with 465MB RAM. Tested on both machines using
Lubutnu 12.04 and Lubuntu 12.10 and I got the SAME result. Chromium
can't handle one opened tab on facebook with Marvel Avengers Alliance

Pavilion dv6 - Core i5 and 4GB RAM - Lubuntu 12.04 64bit.

P4 - 2GB RAM - 40GB IDE HDD - Intel Graphics.
When I create a New Folder on the Desktop to move some files from the
desktop into that new folder (drag and drop), the desktop will stop
responding and when I move any open window, it leaves
