supported in the version already in ubuntu, this release incorporate
patches for nVidia's VDPAU accelerat
This is still an issue in 8.04. Will test in 8.10 tomorrow.

gstreamer-based apps (gstreamer-properties, cheese) doesn't show the
v4l2 video output.
cheese can configure webcam (Dell Inspiron integrated webcam) but it
does not provide any output. after some time the apps hang.
vlc can play with the webcam

i've checked with aMSN - the sape problem. it seem to me that this is not a
tkabber, but a tcl/tk problem in general...
