this seems to be caused by a process called Browser, which absorbs over 5GB of
memory.
That ups the load of my laptop to over 5 because of the swapping that is
happening.

without issues but on a next boot after testing the 4.6.0-rc2 it froze.

I started having problems after the upgrade to 16.04 beta.
I think the last kernel before the update from 15.10 was 4.2.0-35.
The mentioned bug report mentioned this being an issue with a graphics driver,
I guess it is that.
The last freezes happened after playing video.
I installed the 4.5
unfortunately it seems I was to early.
I was fetching the xenial kernel git and got a freeze again.
Don't think the bios had any relevant fixes (at least not in the lenovo support
doc about it).

on goes the testing. Windows 10 installation with all drivers installed gave no
freezes (although it was slow :) ).
Played many hours of video and run updates without issues.
Reinstalled Ubuntu 16.04, and got hang issues right after updating.
Installed 4.4.0-18 which froze also.

A decent OS would just pair with a mouse and implement the workaround or
structurally fix the bug. The bug is confirmed, so it's up to someone to
fix it. Complain at the mouse vendor or at the developer and pick your
hardware carefully and Linux is fun and nice.

I can confirm this on 12.04 x86. when machines with an intel 1000 vm net card
are started, the machine totally hangs hard.
When changed to aMD vm net cards, no problem.

What happens is, that if I touch the screen, the cursor does not move from the
previous position sometimes.
For example when I touch 6 different places on the screen, the cursor would
follow 3 times and the other 3 not (it would remain at the 3rd position).

Fedora and that just works.

I even have the installer crash when copying files is finished and I
