Hm, I am struggling with the root cause of this. It is a Jaunty-specific
issue, but the libsmbclient code shown in the trace didn't really change
since Intrepid... However the glibc code (where the SIGSEGV ultimately
occurs) did change. In particular sysdeps/posix/getaddrinfo.c. So maybe
it's a sid
So it seems that local access (tux->tux) is working correctly. Could you
try to access tux with smbclient from another machine (or access another
machine from tux) and send the corresponding smbclient log ? (using the
original, failing "name resolve order" set on the client, please)

ant should not depend on a JDK since it can be used for much more than
compilation.
Packages that just build-depend on ant (and expect to get a JDK) should be

Our OpenLDAP is compiled (as is the default) without client support for
CLDAP (connection-less LDAP, over UDP). This is primarily due to CLDAP
never making it into a standard, as evidenced by its proposed move to
historical status as RFC3352.
However, CLDAP is used by Active

Though /etc/tomcat5.5 permissions are weird (to say the least),
tomcat-users.xml is not world-readable, since /etc/tomcat5.5 is not
