I have the same problem but only when I am using the grub loader. When I
am using the windows boot loader (installed ubuntu once with wubi) the
dvd drive works fine. My laptop is a Zepto Znote 6625WD

Hey Chris - sorry for the late reply, i did install the kernel and I
still have the same problem. Audio is only comming from the buildin
speaker. And when i switch to docking station HDMI it is silent...

Samsung monitor and Dell dock - usbc)
after live update to 6.8.0-38 the audio was gone. As a bonus feature I
can tell that. If i do a test audio on my machine. Then I can see an

I have now installed 6.10.2 and 6.9
ill give it a shot when I get back to the home lab. Im going to start with 6.9
first and test it out. then try with 6.10.2. and see how they run.

I have tried downloading the kernel and installing it. I encountered some
errors when installing the cloud tools, but was able to fix it afterwards.
I tried booting up on .38 but I still have the same error. (no sound on
hdmi using dell dock usbc)
However I'm not 100% sure it's the righ

I am now trying to install these *.deb files. using " dpkg -i *.deb "
But when I boot up my machine to start on the new kernel, I don't get any
option to select your "-6.8.0-38-generic_6.8.0-38.38-acp-test"

in a weird way I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I am of
