Ubuntu today from a USB stick to the secondary partition of my laptop's
SSD.
Since I needed to install it to the secondary partition, I chose 'custom

After restoring the factory default settings (running 'Erase All Content
and Settings' on the iPod Touch), re-activating the device using iTunes
10.5 on WinXP, I added a few songs using Banshee.
After disconnecting the iPod music app says 'No Music'. So the whole

I also use LDAP and automounted home dirs, and login via LightDM does not work.
With a local user, it does work.
Logging in with an LDAP user via Ctrl-Alt-F1 works like a charm.
I don't have any problems with the /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90qt-a11y script

Pedro, thanks for commenting on this bug I filed over a year ago. While
I'd love to help you by providing the information you asked, I upgraded
F-spot to 0.7.3 over the past year and the problem doesn't seem to be
present in that version.

@ellen craig: yes, unfortunately Apple refuses to create a Linux version
of iTunes. Both Rhythmbox and Bansee are quite capable replacements of
iTunes though. Removing apps from your iPod should be as simple as
touch-and-holding the app until it starts 'shaking', and then touching
the small 'x' in
Seems like I've got version 2.3.7-1~getdeb1 installed now. I started all over
again from mission 1 a few months ago and I played all the way to the last
campaign without noticing the crash mentioned above. So I guess you can mark
this one fixed.
