Public bug reported: Just plugged in my old 1st gen iPod touch 16GB (USB ID 05ac:1291) and when I started Banshee, it crashed after a few seconds. Any subsequent start of Banshee resulted in an immediate crash as long as the iPod was connected. When physically dis- and reconnecting the iPod, it did work and I was able to transfer songs to it. However, when I disconnected the iPod (using the disconnect option in Banshee and letting it finish it's 'writing database' routine) and started the Music App on the iPod, it said 'Updating library, this can take several minutes.' However, after 30 minutes, this process still wasn't finished. So I restarted the iPod and now when I start the Music App, it just shows the first screen and then freezes. The 'Home' button still works though.
