I'm working on a project which depends on xulrunner and spidermonkey
(libmozjs). I use ubuntu 8.04 and xulrunner 1.9 as my development

suspend/resume. Running freshly installed Ubuntu 8.10 RC on a thinkpad
t42p with the Atheros 5212 wireless chip.
Three things that I did were
1. added MODULES="ath_hal" to /etc/defaults/acpi-support (not sure if this is
significant)

I think I've having the same problem. I'm using a Thinkpad T42p with
Atheros AR5212 wireless card. All the access points within range show up
on the menu, but when I select the access point to connect, it hangs on
"waiting for wireless key".
when I type iwconfig in the terminal repeatedly, my ath0
GGL doesn't have static binary linkage to libmozjs.so and libxul.so. Instead,
it opens libmozjs.so dynamically (at runtime), just like what firefox and other
similar applications do.
So I'm wondering why apps like firefox can be in main, while GGL can't.

We are still encountering intermittent DNS resolution issues, even after
an OS reboot. For example:
Net::OpenTimeout: execution expired
/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/resolv-replace.rb: 25:in `initialize'
/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/resolv-replace.rb: 25:in `initialize'
The simliar problem on Derivative version of Ubuntu if this distribution
modified /etc/lsb-release.
Software center should import module Ubuntu fallback if import
DerivativeVersion failed.
