Same situation on my MSI U120 running fresh (just updated) Karmic. The system resumes perfectly everything seem to be working but when you press any key on the keyboard the system goes back to suspend mode. Everything work after second resume. Will be waiting for the fix -- Computer suspends

ok, after much playing around with this. I can tell you that the bug is not in gnome-power-manager. I've been debugging gnome-power-manager and decided that the bug was either in xrandr or somewhere else. So I installed xubuntu with xfce and my brightness issue was still there. So back to the dra
