I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) and -- through
some nastiness involving lost changes to mpd.conf -- ended up re-
installing Sonata 1.5.3 form the Ubuntu 9.04 repositories.
This problem appears to persist in Sonata 1.5.3.

tell; I only have wireless connections, no wired connections) my Lenovo
T61 will lock up; can't move the mouse, can't type, etc.. Any animations
on-screen also freeze completely. The only indication of life is that

Are you sure you checked the two options in paprefs? These two:
* Enable network access to local sound devices
* Don't require authentication
That's the only thing I can think of that would be directly related to

identifies as a Goldstar Ltd. 24" screen. This occurs when connected via
DVI->VGA and DVI->HDMI. When connected via DVI->VGA, all expected
resolutions display properly. When connected via DVI->HDMI, the screen

For what it's worth, I have the same monitor (LG L246WP) and am experiencing
this issue on the currently daily builds for Lucid. This is a desktop system
running an ATI Radeon HD 4650 (R730PRO). The monitor works fine (but fuzzy)
over DVI->VGA, and shows the same cropping as comment #58.
