The problems had occured in Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty. In 7.10 Gutsy I haven't
had any problems, except for the one thing that you mentioned, it takes
a while to transfer the files, I guess this bug should be marked
resolved or something.
And, sorry, I can't really remember if the files were bigger in to
there's another way to crash the system log application, click on dpkg.log and
then kern.log, then dpkg.log again.
I couldn't attach the crash report on gnome site, so I'll attach it here, I
hope it's helpful.

I have found the culprit, I had not enabled QoS in the router, nor the old one
had it. But how come I don't have the same problem in Gutsy or Windows?
Probably they have this QoS integrated?
I would love a graphical interface for a Quality of Service within the Ubuntu
operating system, one that
Confirming for hardy beta. The design is much better, but the map moves
along with the mouse, this will cost a lot of people some time to choose
their location. As Tarmas stated, laptop users will have a hard time
using it.

I have to agree on that too, maybe they could make, instead of a drop-
down box, a static plain list with a vertical bar on the side. simple,

Hm.. My problem was gone, update manager warned me about several broken
packages, but it did continue. I unselected the language-pack upgrades,
installed the rest, and then checked them and installed the language
packs. Everything's ok now!
