After upgrade'ing from Gutsy Gibbon to Feisty Fawn shutting down/resume takes
very long time (eg. 2-5 minutes).
Logs from /var/log/messages does not gives any idea what is wrong. One day i
found what causes this issue. I've got PCMCIA wireless card (3Com 3CRWE62092B)

Using Kingston pendrive with U3 feature. It does mount automatically
additional cd-rom with the U3 software (very annoying, but does not

Sometimes it mounts pendrive twice (two pendrives, two cd-roms). List

My bug: #245655 has different symptoms. I can easily make computer to
sleep, but the resume and shutdown takes ages. I think it is also
connected with the firmware problem. Nonetheless my card works
flawlessly even without this error.

I'm confirming this problem. Evolution during startup asks for
passwords. After cancelling for each account separately, user could get
mail with F9.
I've discovered, that deleting ~/.evolution/mail/config/folder-tree-
expand-state.xml causes this problem to dissapear. Although after

Indeed the solution by Progger works ! protobuf from this ppa (protobuf 2.5.0)
replaces libprotobuf.so.7 with libprotobuf.so.8
I wasn't aware that unity uses protobuf and couldn't connect this ppa upgrade
with unity problem because i wasn't restarting unity for a long time.

Using ubuntu 13.04. Two days ago after system restart unity could not
