that I start up awn and the menus have decorations on them, but then I
start Chromium and suddenly awn does not have decorations on it.

Sadly, after persisting with Network Manager's inconsistent connections,
I am taking Tiger99's advice (post #217) and using Betavine and wicd to
get reliable, first-time connection.

To be honest, this is not a high priority right now for me. UDS is

That's the "beauty" of the DES card. You cannot know the next password.

and card know, but the idea is that it should not be reverse-engineer-

There's not much we can (or should) do in xsplash itself to fix this.
What we really need is a service that is aware of when the desktop is
loaded [1], and possibly have notify-osd queue up notifications until
it's certain that we're loaded.

The toolbar button does not address this bug. It does not manage pages
as a stack. I think it is based upon some web-browser user interface
work that displayed the title of recently visited pages in a drop down

It should not affect the operation in non-CSD mode at all.
This actually just seems to be a bug in xchat-gnome that has never been
noticed because when the event propagates up to the toplevel widget
there has never been one that catches it before.
