Me too. Savvas' workaround worked for me. Mackenzie it is not about tabs. Firefox says it wants a restart. You click on restart. Firefox exits and restarts itself. Then a few seconds later says it needs a restart. So you click restart and it does. Then it comes up saying it needs a restart.
