I just installed the latest langpacks from today and the problem is
still here. There's no computerjanitor.mo or similar in my /usr/share
/locale-langpack/es/LC_MESSAGES/ after upgrading.

I can confirm the issue. It seems to be a screen refresh problem or
something similar.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Log into GNOME.
2. Open any window and maximize it (this step is not mandatory, but a maximized
window is useful to see the effects of this bug).

I don't think that orange color was the best option for hyperlinks. In
web browsers, orange hyperlinks means a visited link, so the user might
be tempted to think that the GNOME desktop is behaving like a browser,
showing all hyperlinks as visited and confusing the user. Blue might be
a better solu
The problem is even worse using Ambiance and Radiance themes, because
there's no window menu in the title bar, so the user can't select the
"Resize" option easily. The user must know that right-clicking on the
window title opens the window menu, which it's very unevident.

I have computer-janitor frozen at this moment I'm writing this. I only
asked it to remove linux-headers-2.6.32-20 and linux-
image-2.6.32-20-generic packages. The window doesn't response, no disk

Well, I still have the same problem, but at least I have a good
workaround (taken from
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=504041):
$ sudo umount /dev/sr0
$ sudo rmmod pata_via
$ sudo modprobe pata_via
After running the above three commands, Ubuntu recognizes the CD/DVD
