I got the exact same bug on 14.04 - 64bits.
The problem comes from issue into GStreamer.
By default it uses libgstmusepack.so (in
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-0.10) to decode MPC. But the plugin is not
working so it can't decode the file.

I can only confirm it kernel version higher than 3.13-0-24 will break
domino servers.

-generic-pae/kernel/sound/pci/hda/

to be configured to work.
And when installing Ubuntu we do not get a chance to configure it,
unlike what some other distributions (Mandriva, PCLinuxOS etc) do: if

same problem : Touchpad doesn't work in a fresh Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04
install. Tried to run cat /proc/bus/input/devices and there's no driver

We had this problem yesterday on only one of two Ubuntu 18.04 instance
on AWS. We had to rollback to a previous snapshot to make the instance
bootable again.
