This issue still exits but this bug is invalid becuse it's an error in
the fglrx driver and it need to be fixed by ATI because it's propritary.
Other users from the phoronix forum has the problem too. This bug also
exists in the lastest fglrx 9.1! I don't thing it make sense to add the
"lspci -vvnn

either another driver than "radeon driver" or you've got an other
problem. By disabling DRI or using the updated package you should solve
the problem.

Ok I guess I found a solution. Thanks Thermaltaker for your help but
that was not the problem. My SSID was on Channel 13. And it seems like
the ath5k can't find any networks on channel 13.

Ok i solved it. I had to copy my ~/.gnome2/session file to /home//.gnome2/xsession. Then edit the file and change the directory
names for the new user and the change the ownership of the file. But I
still don't know why the session file could not be created by ubuntu.

I checked my standard bakup of my xorg.conf (like it was from the
beginning) but it seems to be that the problem is "xrandr" because it
couldn't find all of my monitors. The live cd is able to find my monitor

When I use Filezilla or ftp in the terminal I got no problem to browse

Yes this bug is still there! But I have figured out how I can avoid this
most of the time! This only happens (not always) when I'm working with
the battery. When my laptop is plugged in I haven't seen this so far.
Maybe it has something to do with the power managment, especially
dimming

Where can I find the sources. I would try to build it for REVU but I
only find a bunch of tar.gz's in the projects APT Repo. Is there no
tar.gz with the whole src? This would be easier to maintain if there

I've just installed linux-generic-lts-raring on 12.04.2 and my drbd device
stoped working.
Seems like drbd8-utils is not compatible with DRBD 8.4 in Kernel 3.8.
I see that we can't upgrade the package since this would break compatibility
with the older Kernels in Precise.

Suse, Fedora too. I have the theory that the mac adress on the chip is
wrong and nvidia corrected it by the driver in windows.
