Downloaded 8.10 Ibex AMD 64 Desktop ISO. MD5SUM Matches. CD Burns fine
(did it twice just to make sure).
It boots fine, shows me the menu (to run live or to install etc). It
does not proceed if I click on Install or Live mode. It hangs in there
for a while and reports an erro
The bug still exists .. I had to install 8.10Beta and do a distupgrade

I was trying to "off" the external monitor (HDMI) through the monitor
settings tool. I was not able to. Repeated clicking of apply caused the
crash
