Public bug reported:
Downloaded 8.10 Ibex AMD 64 Desktop ISO. MD5SUM Matches. CD Burns fine
(did it twice just to make sure).
It boots fine, shows me the menu (to run live or to install etc). It
does not proceed if I click on Install or Live mode. It hangs in there
for a while and reports an error. Does not install.

Dell XPS M1530 Core 2 DUO 2.5Ghz with 4GB RAM
