I am experiencing similar problems with a Soyntec Nexoos 395 hub. I'm
working with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bits with AMD processor. Previously I
had a cheap USB 1.1 hub working fine. Now, when attaching a USB drive or
a device there are intermittent communication problems, so I have to
select a USB por
All right: apparently the troubles disappeared with the Soyntec Nexoos
395 hub. Not really sure about the fixing (updating? device conflict?
virtual machine malfunction?). Now it is working fine. Sorry for the
inconveniences!
