I've purged the old drivers, installed the new ones, restarted the system and
the printing still doesn't work.
system-config-printer shows it as idle, and it can't print the test page (the
button changes to "cancel test" so I cancel the test page after few minutes of
printer being idle).

I even turned off apparmor, but it didn't help.
Cups' logs show that everything is fine:

I was installing Hardy Alpha 5 today on a PC with 2 hard drives.
I chose manual partitioning and created the following partitions:
/dev/hda1 40GB (whole disk) ext3 primary /media/hda1
/dev/hdb1 20GB ext3 primary /
/dev/hdb2 ~43GB ext3 primary /ho
Hmmm... is it the same as my bug 198571 ? (if yes then mark my bug as
duplicate)
