It's about to get stranger - Altair details the steps he took:
(1) "Un-shared" my Documents share
(2) Rebooted - just in case
(3) Started nautilus from a terminal and from within nautilus recreated my
Documents share. ( share / write / guest = yes )
(4) Logged off and on again
(5) Launched nautil

Ok, drifting into the area of speculation here: I seem to remember
reading somewhere that there's a package (or even just a util) that
deals with the naming of these base folders for internationalisation
reasons (if you login with a new language, it'll dynamically rename the
folders to account for
Also, I've just noticed that the original bug report was for intrepid.

According to Launchpad Janitor (from archive auto-sync), this bug has
been fixed, so status was changed from confirmed to fix released.

Actually, F11 uses the 2.6.29 kernel series, whereas Jaunty/Gloria use
2.6.28, which obviously has less hardware support, so you can't be using
the same driver versions on both installs. Seeing as you said it
happens on Ubuntu too, I've forwarded it upstream, but it's unlikely
they'll be able to h

Andrew: Grand Paradiso was Firefox 3's codename, and is still used in
some stuff written during it's development, it's still firefox though.

I think this is not a duplicate, because this one mentions using
"shockwave flash 9.0 r115 plugin". I would suggest ignoring it since I
had the flash crashing problem only with the Gnash plugin (unfortunately
I can confirm this bug when using the gnash plugin, only occasionally
leading to a full crash, more often than not just either collapsing or
blanking the flash content area. Removing the plugin, then installing
the non-free adobe plugin (labelled as version 9.0 r115) solves the
problem.
