Public bug reported:
To reproduce:
$ nm-connection-editor
Douple click an existing VPN connection
Authentication Type -> "Password with Certificates"
User Certificate -> click on file chooser -> select a .p12 file
Expected result:
new certificate file is accepted
What happens instead:
nm
A possible work around is to export an existing VPN setting, to change
the filename in the exported config file and then to import it again.

Anders, thank you for sharing this workaround, it seems to work quite well for
me too!
I am using a WPA encrypted access point, that doesn't seem to cause problems.

Hello,
is "Fix Released" the appropriate status here?
As I see it we now know how to recover from a messed up situation -- but
we still don't know why this situation was caused nor do we now how to
prevent it from happening in the first place. My understanding of 'fix

Who,
just a short question: How long will this logic board replacement take
in your case? I am still under warranty and so will probably go to the
apple store tomorrow, but if this is taking longer than a few days it
will be a serious show-stopper for me.

+1 for release notes.
I think this is a very severe bug. Had I not been able to recover from
it relatively quickly then I might have given up on Ubuntu. I really do
love Ubuntu but this bug was quite a shock.
