The only difference is the error line in
/usr/share/perl5/Apache/RPC/Server.pm is now 37.

Running Hardy now. Rhythmbox still isn't entirely releasing the sound
interface.
I have two audio outputs available on my laptop. One is an external USB
sound device, my prefered audio output. Rhythmbox uses this okay. The
other output is the built in speakers, which I'd rather not use at all.

Similar to above. PC was idle, with locked screensaver. Upon return

don't make any difference whatsoever to the brightness when changed.
Either when using AC or battery.
However, using the function keys I can succesfully change the
brightness.

VirtualBox does not show up anywhere in Gnome-shell as an application.
Wine doesn't show up anywhere in Gnome-shell as an application.
Those are two of the more egregious examples. I can run them from the
command line. The .desktop entries clearly exist in
/usr/share/applica
All extensions uninstalled. Reboot and same result.
So far I can tell the following desktop files fail to load and icons
don't appear not only in the app launcher but also when I force them to
boot (via shell) which does show the icons, clicking the "Favorites"
doesn't do anything either.
