Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When listening to a track and hitting pause, the sound interface is
still blocked and is unavailable to other apps.  The sound interface is
released in the following conditions: at the end of the playlist, when
double clicking upon an empty Play Queue or when quitting the
application.  What you can't do is pause a track, use another apps that
uses sound, and resume from where you left of.
