be a bug since it should not be possible for a user to provoke an

The problem of mount.nfs producing an internal error also showed up for
me in OpenSUSE 11.0, when it was not in previous versions of OpenSUSE.
So it must be originating in some code release that's common to both
OpenSUSE and Ubuntu. It's also been reported for Fedora.

Until I installed Hardy Heron on this laptop, the sound worked fine.
After installing HH 8.04, it didn't. At first I had no sound at all,
but after switching from the i386 kernel to the generic kernel, as
