Unwanted workspace switching at screens edge
With the new driver, I've started to get more of something similar –
different colored dots. Before this driver version there wasn't a lot of
them (a few in the boot loading stage), but now there's almost 20 (?!)
of them boot time and they even appear in the desktop sometimes.

my two monitors. It's the non-primary display for X screen.

I'm running a dual monitor setup.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open xfce4-terminal window (I'm sure this has happened with other apps as
well...)
(1 1/2. Remove the menubar)
2. Drag the window to other monitor
3. Right-click the window
-> context menu appears
-> the transparent area appears usu
Also any activity on the transparent windows removes the transparent
area from that place - when the area has to be redrawn.

I have to agree with Lionel, even as I have disabled installing
recommendations myself.
If you have disabled installation of recommended packages, then you
can't expect everything working. At least you should be aware that a
single package won't bring you all the functionality (with depends only)
An issue also concerning app-switcher is that with dual monitor setups
and big resolutions the switcher only appears on the monitor *where the
mouse is*, and that might be quite far away from the point you are
looking to.

I can confirm this happens on Karmic. Just yesterday I ran an upgraded
system and as the Kernel was updated to 2.6.31-16, I could log in but
only the wallpaper and mouse pointer was shown. The session was
definitely Xfce session (GDM had two different Xfce session items, and I

The Xubuntu team has been preparing a new wallpaper for 18.10 and we're
now looking for an approval for the late upload.
The actual upload will be ready to go before the RC.
This change does not affect the documentation team (as we don't have
screenshots of this in the docum
