here are two new tasks blocking for more than 120 seconds. but this time the
task "kjournald2" followed dy "rsync" are affected. this happens when i tried
to copy from one ext4 volume to an other with rsync.
So its not samba - specific as i assumed at first let me say it seems to be a

during the creation of an .bin file (with imgburn) via my MS Windows Vista
client the application reaches a
timeout with lossing the connection to the samba server for a while.

hi there,
As a result of this error (behavior?) i switched back from ext4 to ext3 on my
14 TB softraid volume and no more blocking messages.

Is the testing of the upstream kernel still needed or interesting? In this

I just tried the upstream kernel "v2.6.36-maverick" (was very simple to
manage).
After restarting this result: It works - the drives are working well.
I think i have to wait, 'til this kernel version will be a part of the
Ubuntu online distribution update.
