Here are some additional informations: after some time of testing, i found that booting from a Ubuntu 10.10 (i use the 64Bit version) life-CD ends in a endless loop with a blinking cursor on the (black) startup screen. After removing the controller and starting again works.
Btw. Ubuntu 10.04 (64Bit) works fine. So, what ist the reason? Bad driver configuration in the underlaying kernel? Thanx for helping and greetings Okkulter -- Ubuntu 10.10 - after upgrade from 10.04 - no drives found connected via Marvell 88SX7042 SATA-Host-Adapter https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666197 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
