I had this problem when I had guidance-power-manager or kde-guidance-
powermanager installed, clicking on Suspend to RAM worked, but

yes I used suspend regularly.
However rebooting did not solve the problem.

Just rebooted with 2.6.24-8-generic and still have the same problem.

Setting CPUFREQD_MODULE="acpi-cpufreq" in /etc/powersave/cpufreq fixed
it. However I'm not sure why.

Not sure if this is actually a bug or not. But i have the feeling, that
my laptop does not get so hot, when running windows. Does anybody have
the same laptop and can confirm this? Also the CPU is running most of
