After recently upgrading to the latest version of the numix-gtk-theme
from the PPA I decided to switch to it, however up on doing so I
triggered this issue. When I switched back to Adwaita however the issue
went as well.
Now however, even after switching back to Adwaita, the issue still
persists.
I have now also noticed that if I am to end the Nautilus process, then
my desktop background shows as it is meant to everywhere. But starting
Nautilus again makes the desktop grey again.

I remember that in the original Snake game that there were levels on
which there were no walls around the border of the map and that instead
what would happen is that the snake would go through the border and come

This was under Xorg, now that I am running Wayland however the issue is
much worse. Now not even the numbers, nothing does, even though it's
running, it looks like just a still image of it in one state from the
AO.
So is this still likely to be a GNOME issue or could it perhaps be with
Xorg and Wa

I'm rather disappointed actually that this feature is gone, I found it
rather useful to know all this information before continuing... It also
added a bit of colour to the page and I think made the user feel more
connected with the installer.

Though this doesn't normally make a difference, after recently changing
my password the problem went away on my Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME
3.18 machine... Though it will probably come back in a while and is
still present in my VM installation of Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 Beta2 with
GNOME 3.20.
