Public bug reported:

I have just found with the Kubuntu 16.04.1 64-bit (I assume that it is
the same with the 32-bit one) that if I press the minimize button on the
top of the installer that it freezes for about 5 seconds and then
completely disappears and I can't get it back. Also no matter how long I
wait (I waited for 2 hours and before I minimized it it was nearly
complete) it doesn't at any point tell me that it is done and a restart
can be performed. So after 2 hours of waiting I performed a restart
anyway, and I had big problems when I started Kubuntu because it
appeared as though it hadn't installed everything needed, in fact it was
almost like me minimizing it caused it to pause the installation or
something, I don't know.
