I appear to be having a very similar issue which started for me in
December of 2019. I am running Ubuntu 19.10 and my system will no
longer come out of suspend correctly. It hangs and kern.log shows the
following:

I am glad to know I am not the only one having this issue. For a bit I
was beginning to think it was maybe just my machine. I even updated my
BIOS to see if that would help. For me this issue seems to be
completely at random, sometimes it will boot fully and then other times
it will do the lock-
I just started experiencing this issue today when listening to MP3 or
m4a files. Historically this has not been an issue. I have been using
Rhythmbox since Beta1 and for me this appears to be a new issue. That
being said, I have usually been listening on a different laptop, but
they are both run

15.04. I upgraded to the (currently) proposed 3.19.0-17-generic
(3.19.0-17.17) kernel and the Juniper SSL client is now working as
expected.

Unfolding/Folding doesn't work in gtk
As a work-around, if I set Pidgin to load when I log in and set "Show
System Tray Icon" to "Always", then this appears to work around the
issue. I am unsure why this seems to work, but it would be nice to not
have to do all of this in order to just get the Buddy List to work.

Hello Chauncellor, thank you for the feedback. This issue was happening
until about a month ago, there was a huge number of updates one day, I
believe it was a kernel update as well as Unity updates, etc. Once
those updates went through I tried to put the settings back to the
defaults and see if

was but this issue is resolved for me now.

I have a Windows 7 virtual machine that was working a few days ago,
however, now when I try to boot it the entire machine locks up so hard
that I have to reset it. I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and this is what I
have currently for VirtualBox:

way that I can currently boot this system is via a snapshot, trying to
do a clean boot just causes my entire host Linux system to lock up
